Introduction
|
Under the aegis of Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede 56 Birthday Foundation Trust Nagpur. Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede College of Art. & Commerce Khaparkheda. Was Established in 1994. There is only one Senior College in Khaparkheda. The AIM of the College in To Provide Higher Education To Students of Rural area.
The College Library has no Separate Building Library though Having Less Number of Books But is in a Position to Cater to The Needs of The Students Both in Terms of Quality as Well as Quantity

| Special Features |
• Special Reading facilities for teachers and PG Students.
• Internet facility (Broadband) with twenty terminals is provided in library which caters to the need of UG classes. Separate facility for teachers and PG students is created.
• Photocopying and printing services are extended to students.
• Library has been enriched with twenty one computers (1 Server + 20 Clients connected in LAN)
• Bar Code project is in process. One TSC Bar Code Printer purchased and one reader for circulation.
• The separate Internet facility (Broad Band) has been extended to students and staff on twenty
computer terminals. Separate facility for PG students and teachers is provided.
• Throughout the year regular orientation programmes are conducted in the library which
includes using reference sources on CDs, creating awareness about free information sources
available on Internet through “Information Literacy Programmes”. The topics covered under
Information Literacy Programmes are Directory of Open Access Journals (www.doaj.org), Digital
Library of India (www.dli.ernet.in), and Institutional Repositories of various organizations.
• Library automation work is in process LIBMAN library software is purchased for automation of library.

| Who can become the member of the library? |
• All Post Graduate Students admitted in College.
• External Post graduate students (Limited number).
• Post-Graduate students of affiliated colleges for reference only.
• All faculty members of the College. |

Saturday : 9.00a.m. to 1.30 p.m. |

| The Library remains closed on Sunday and on Government Holidays. |

| Rules for use of B.T. Card: |
1. Books will be issued strictly against B.T. Card only.
2. In case the B.T. Card is lost, the member will have to communicate the librarian in written immediately to avoid misuse.
3. If B.T. card is lost for second B.T. Card students will pay Rs 20/-.
4. If the B.T. Card is lost, and in case the book is taken by anybody else, then the member will be held responsible for transaction on B.T.Card.
5. Two Books can be borrowed on B.T. Card for 15 days and one time renew.
6. Reference books cannot be made available for home issue.
7. Failures to return the book in time will cost Rs. One per day. |
